1.Ancient Vikramshila University,Kahalgaon(Bhagalpur)
Vikramshila University, a historical edifice, is located at Antichak village in Bhagalpur District of Bihar. Spread over 4 sq km, it is 44 km east of Bhagalpur.
Established by Dharampala King, it was formerly an ancient Buddhist educational institution. The excavations done here disclose that it was a part of a large monastery. Buddha images, inscribed seals and stupas are among the discoveries.


2 .Birth Place of Fanishwar Nath Renu(Famous Hindi writer),Araria.
Araria is one of the district located in north-eastern part of Bihar, India. The district touches the Indo-Nepal international border also this area is very close to three countries viz Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan. The Land is a Karmbhumi (work-place) of legendary Novelist(story-writer) Sri Fanishwar Nath Renu. Agricultural identification is Machhli(Fish), Patwa(Jute), Dhaan(Paddy) etc. Araria have its natural beauty for green fields, ponds, rivers and canals. It has a view point of Mountain kanchanjungha (One of the great peack of Himalayan series).

3.Rahman Pur:
It is situated 40 km North from Katihar town,is very near to Barsoi.This village is a historic village due to presence of Mazar-e-Sharif.Every year lots of devotees come here to offer prayer during Urs celebration.It is also known a heart of Katihar due to its beauty and connectivity from West Bengal.The place is home to a number of roads as well.Apart from natural beauty,Rahman pur is confident to offer things of daily usage within a couple of meters.Asides roadways,the village is closely situated with a railway halt called Sanjay Gram.
4.Mandar Hills:-
Mandar Hills (50 km from Bhagalpur)steeped in legend and laced with landscape of extraordinary splendour exposes the 800 ft. hige granite hill.Mandar is associated with amritmanthana which suggests that the hill was used by the Gods to churn the ocean to produce amrit.The serpent ,basukinaga offered to serve as the rope and has left behind an impression of the coil on the granite hill.
